The Thought Process Behind Our Process

We know websites. Heck, we spent years building high-end projects from scratch. But we also witnessed the mayhem of the “custom” world first-hand and and the countless hours wasted – well, wasted at the expense of the clients. We knew there had to be a better way to build high-quality websites so we set out to do better.

We embraced the strengths of the open source market and the value It brings to our clients. We designed our process to be efficient and simple by utilizing industry-best management, invoicing, and collaboration tools. Finally, we developed a pricing model that is fixed, coherent and as consistent as possible. Our culture strives to be transparent in everything we do and push the “unknowns” in projects to the forefront.

That sounds nice…but, how do you do what you do?

We start by evaluating your needs and match you with an appropriate platform. We’ll discuss your objectives, requirements, and all the really cool things you want your site to do. You’ll be given a Basecamp account so you can collaborate with us throughout the project and track its status.

A design for your site will be created and uploaded into GetSignOff. You’ll review each design tier and you can even comment, annotate, approve and mark up the mocks from this software. You’ll have two rounds of revisions included to finalize a design.

Once a design is finalized, we begin to implement your content and format it accordingly. Any CMS or shopping cart systems will be tied in and customized to spec. Your site is published to our testing server and once you give us the thumbs up, we launch!

Sound simple? It is. We pride ourselves in making a typically complex process simple. Open source technology allows us to quickly roll out core functionality so we can focus on the features that matter most. And, our administrative work is automated so we’re efficient and can do what we do best – build and create.
