Our prices are based on the platform the website will be built on, plus any custom features that may be required. While we do our best to be transparent in our pricing models, it’s impossible to list every feature that a customer may want or require. These packages are appropriate for most small businesses, but if you would like a quote for a custom project or a site built on a different platform, please contact us.

We also build websites on other industry leading open source platforms.

Logos of Platforms We Work With

Do I have to sign a contract?

Yes. A contract protects both parties and clearly outlines our terms and conditions. A signed agreement is required to start the project along with a 50% down payment. The contract can be submitted by email, fax, postal or courier service, or accepted online through our website.

What are your payment terms?

We require a down payment of 50% upfront to begin the project. The remaining 50% is due upon completion of the project or 30 days from the start date, whichever occurs first. We do this in case a client disappears or fails to deliver content which may delay the project (hey, we hate the idea too but it does happen from time to time and our work is almost always complete by then – you’d want to get paid for your work too, right?).

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept payment by check, bank wire transfer, Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express credit cards, as well
as Google Checkout and PayPal.

What happens if I want to add stuff or the scope changes?

Stuff happens, ideas snowball, plans change. We get it and will do our best to accommodate any changes should they occur. If the project scope changes during course of production, we will notify you and submit a project change request (PCR) form. We evaluate each request individually to determine it’s impact on the project’s budget, timeline and overall ability to mesh well with the current project. Our PCR will outline each of these areas and no new work will begin until both parties agree to and execute the form.

How long will the project take?

Well, that depends. We know everyone hates that answer so we will say that most of our sites are completed in 2-4 weeks. Project timelines are based on the project’s size, our current workload, the amount of revisions required, as well as your availability and promptness in delivering the items we need (such as content).

Do you offer a discount for Non-Profits?

Absolutely. At Live Pulse we love working with nonprofits and offer a generous 15% discount for all 501(c)3 organizations. We even do some work pro bono for select organizations. Read more about our corporate culture and learn about our initiatives to help nonprofits build rockin’ websites.

What happens if I need more revisions or additional pages?

No worries – we’re here to develop the website you want, but you may incur additional costs if your requests exceed the allowed amount. The best way to prevent additional charges is to have a clear understanding of the site you want and the proposed site structure, be upfront with your expectations and provide thorough and complete feedback.

What if I’m not sure what I want?

Well, the short answer is: don’t jump into a website project. If you don’t have a clear vision or know your own expectations, how are we supposed to deliver a successful project? If you find yourself in this predicament, don’t worry – we can help. Check out our Ideation & Strategy Consulting services for more information. And of course, this statement doesn’t apply to everyone, but unless you’re willing to hand over the reigns for the entire project, you really should do your homework.
